This started out strong, mysterious, almost mystical inb a fascinating "world". By part 4, it became a typical YA adventure and not so good. Then, after part 4, it disappeared so we'll never know.The author needs to make this a complete book, lose the "romance" and delve into the slavery and token madness. There is real potential here but....I can only hope for the best.

After the Darkness Episode Four by SunHi Mistwalker is still promising to be a good serial.
Nadia makes it Section Three and finds very coincidentally finds Percy.
After the Darkness Episode Four continues slowly, but I am still looking forward to the other installments. It is too soon to make a recommendation.
I received this book in the LibraryThing give away. I thought it fair to read the whole series. they were only 99 cents and the first was free. And the were short so in order to give a fairer review I started at the beginning. It was a tad confusing as to what was going on, however the writing style and tone drew me in and i wanted to know more. i was intrigued with Nadia and Mila. Percy just irritated me. And Colby was an interesting young man. i was hooked on episode one and continued through all six. It left me wanting to know what happens to them all. I guess my biggest complaint is a lack of a back story. something that explains how their world got that way and more about it customs. Some more explanations would have been helpful. That being said, I was given characters i could care about and a place that intrigued me. I think it could seriously be expanded into a larger book with more detail. Well written. I do recommend this book. but read all of it or you won't understand at all.
Just thought I would drop my thoughts in here...it is short, but excellent. Can't wait to see more from Mistwalker! I enjoyed the writing, and the characters were fairly well realized. Let's see MORE of the story! Looking forward to it!
